Utō-Shakushi 有道杓子 - うとうしゃくし, wooden scoops/spoons, slowly carved by hand using hook & straight knives. The wooden blanks being previously squared with an axe from a tree log freshly cut with an hand saw. Carved from ethically sourced logs from trees that grew up localy. Unique pieces with urushi 漆 (natural laquer) finishing.
