It was during my first trip to Japan in 2015 that I discovered this teahouse, the Tsutsuji-no-chaya at Rikugi-en Garden in Tokyo.
This discover was the starting point of my journey on the Japanese Way of Tea and especially the Wabi-Cha わび茶 aesthetic.
Back from my trip, I then began to self-taught carve my wooden utensils for tea ceremonies and three years later (2018) I presented my work to the public.
There is so much to discover on this long journey ... I will always be an apprentice.
